About Me

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 35445) and a certified Jungian Analyst specializing in individual and couples psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.  I maintain a private practice in Sherman Oaks, California.

With over 16 years experience as a clinician, my areas of expertise include: individual and couples counseling focusing on issues of personal growth and development, changes related to stage-of-life transition, relationship issues, stress reduction, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, gay and lesbian issues, and Jungian-oriented psychoanalytic work and dream interpretation.

In addition, I teach public workshops on personal growth and dream interpretation nationally.  I am also a Training Analyst and Clinical Supervisor at the C.G. Jung Study Center of Southern California.

I am a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. My treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. I use a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, I work with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
